Did you know the true history behind our beloved Mother’s Day feast? The Egyptians were the first ones to celebrate it, in honor of the goddess Isis, who was considered the mother of the pharaohs. It was then celebrated even by the ancient Greeks and Romans, until our modern days. We could almost say that the Mother’s Day is one of the oldest feasts the humankind created ;D Sometimes, though, we find ourself really confused on how to spend this beautiful day together with our mom… so why not checking out an helpful site like www.mothersdaycentral.com? I found a lot of useful advices there *_* Surely it would make my beloved mommy happy!

Also did you know the reason that the engagement ring and wedding band is worn on the fourth finger of the left hand is because the ancient Egyptians thought that the “vein of love’ ran from this finger directly to the heart.
