I finally passed!! And week’s projects
Posted By Luana on June 15, 2010
I’m back from a 2-days vacation with Simmy, and I feel a lot more relaxed and full of energy.
We came back home yesterday in the morning, after two super “lazy” days in hotel (Rome). It was too sweet for words, believe me. ^-^
So, what now? … I PASSED my Discrete Mathematics exam!!!
YAY! Got a 20/30, which is a big score to me, as the subject was really hard to learn and master. I’m proud of myself
and I’m thankful for life to my lovely Simmy for helping my guide and support through the learning of this wonderful but difficult subject. Thank you sweetheart!
My 25th birthday comes on the 17th of June. Can you believe it?!? I’m a quarter of a century old!
’ But in the end, it doesn’t feel that bad at all: I’m still a teenager at heart, a kid to be precise, a dreamer, a creative being who shall never stop having fun with the simplest joys in life, and who’ll never stop playing with creativity.
That’s the way God made me and I cherish it every day of my life.
Tomorrow night (on the 16th) I will celebrate my birthday with my best friend Cristina and her boyfriend.
They invited me over for dinner, how sweet! ^w^ They did this because they can’t come to my birthday lunch at the restaurant on the 17th; they only people who will come are Simone and my other good friend Serena. I had invited another friend too (Claudia), but she’s working on that day, so she can’t come. I really miss her, and I hope I can talk to her on Facebook in the next days. ^^ Now that I’m free of that exam I can spend more time with my friends and my kids.
Here’s a little list of this week’s projects and to-do-list:
- continue writing articles on Blogging Characters
- resume Art Commissions
- finish translating a Robocity story
- update Characters’ blogs
- launch new Character’s sites
- continue writing the short story “Evergreen“
A little big list, huh?
I just missed doing this stuff too much! I love Maths, but studying it at marathon pace meant not being able to keep up with the other things, and I missed them badly, too badly.
‘Later, babes. <3

This is obviously late but happy birthday, love! *hugs* I hope you had a good day and I hope your week has been wonderful; it sounds like you had quite a few things planned.
Congratulations on passing – anything related to mathematics is definitely not my thing. My grades slipped so much in eighth grade maths, I knew I was not destined to be good at it forever.
25 is special though; I always loved that age and wished to be married by that age. Silver jubilee, as they call it.
Good luck with your to-do lists! I love making those, always gets some motivation going. At the moment I’m trying to write a book which is a bit difficult. The last time I tried, I was 15, and got a long way, but the story had the worst and most convoluted plot!
RE: I rarely go to cinemas, once a year is probably my average. I don’t even think I’ve seen 19 (my age) movies at the cinemas in my life!

Aww Luana, congrats on passing the exam! I know how much it means to you. *hugs* I am so proud of you XD
And happy happy belated 25th birthday! I hope you had a wonderful birthday. My 25th birthday will be in August so I will be a quarter of a century old too! LOL <3
Wow, you have a lot of projects to do this week. I hope you'll get them done soon.
Yeah, many young kids nowadays lose the kind of creativity that kids in the old days had. The kids now have video games, the internet, tv, etc to spend them time on.

Happy Belated Birthday!

My birthday was actually on April 8th.
I’m glad you are using God’s gift of being creative and not having a start at being a quater of a century years old.
It is great that you had a great vacation! and that you passed the math exam!
Math is hard for me. It’s good to hear that people can overcome it. It’s not just a myth.
I hope you have fun doing your projects!
