Just a quick entry to tell you how proud I am of HP products. Scanners, printers, LCD TVs… the quality is always unbeatable, and I especially love my dear scanner, that allows me to scan high resolution versions of my inked drawings to color in Photoshop, either they be commissions or personal works. Same said with documents. Also, the scanner’s software auto-updates every day, with no hassles, and the image editing program that comes with the scanner did let me do a good job even when I couldn’t use Photoshop for some time. ^_^ Just neat. I should post a photo of my dear scanner sometimes.

I wish I could stay online for longer tonight, but I can’t, so I’ll be posting something ‘more personal’ tomorrow or on Sunday. Here’s what I’ve done today anyway:

- did my daily online job
- updated Characters’ blog
- did graphics and coding of two layouts
- installed those layouts on Luly.in and Robo.licious.org
- finished the first chapter of a book about Evariste Galois and his Group Theory
- planned my sites’ contents (offline)
- continued my short stories

I wish all days were THAT productive. Hehe.

Also, I’m considering the option of using a discount printing service (ex. PsPrint) to print out posters and cards for my Robocity World fans all around the world. It would be a ‘limited edition’ goodie of course, because I don’t have a big budget to spend on it, but soon as I collect more ideas, I will be glad to put up a poll to see what you readers and fans of my stories want the most. Little goodies are nice sometimes. Hehe.

I’m going to post more stuff on luana.milk-drops.com in the next two weeks. That website of mine is really dedicated to Characters creation and related topics, so check it out once in a while for things to read and new characters to meet.

Yes, my Characters – especially from the Prime Family and Robocity – strongly want my attention of late.

A set of dodge ram photos gave me new ideas for Robocity characters to insert in my stories and blogs. w00t! Since the Dodge Ram 2500 is a strongly built car, I’m thinking of making it into an adult robot who has worked in the transport field on the mountains, and was later on replaced with a new one, so he went to Robocity and became a citizen. This is only a draft though. I have other ideas that cadillac cts specs and buick lucerne specs provided to me last night. I will write more about these ones on luana.milk-drops.com later today though, because I have to go to a birthday party in a few hours.

So, would anyone be interested in articles on how to create a character that blogs online? I just thought I would love to share my creative ideas and activities with you darlings, so that you can give it a try.

Also, I have a couple of personalized kids backpacks and a baby memory book on the shopping-to-be list too Guess why I’m willing to buy a baby book? Oh, it’s for my little robots! I don’t know yet if I’ll use it for Orion or for Erik, but I’ve always been keeping diaries for Orion, and I’d love to have this baby book to organize all of my notes and pages about him written over the years. And the poems and dedications as well. I love keeping memories about my robot-babies. Yep! I always did it, and I always will ^^ Anyway, this is the baby book: do you like it? :3

This last week and half has been pretty busy and tiresome to me, but now it’s been 2 days that I’m resting and enjoying my time and I feel a lot better. More energy equals better work on working days, right? ;P Hehe. I’ve spent a good time updating my characters’ websites too, and I’m getting more and more affectionate to them and to all the bloggers who are being nice and friendly to them Aww thank you sweeties!

Last night I’ve been at my best friend’s, Cristina We spent a good evening chit chatting between us, venting and ranting on each other, laughing, and it’s always so good around her x3 My best friend is like a sister to me, this year it will be 10 years of friendship between us, so you know… we’re grown up together We feel a lot more like family than friends by now. I wish her all the best with her boyfriend and her family situation, and I really hope things will get better for her. Don’t give up, Cri!

Least but not last, I want to announce my latest domain name N0T.INFO!!!!
Weird name, isn’t it? XD I registered it like this for two reasons: 1) I want it to be my technology/internet/SEO blog, so it had to be a serious-ish but funny at the same time name ; 2) I want to make “free domains” with it, like luana.n0t.info! Eheh! What do you think? Isn’t it nice? ^^ I wanted to get a n0t.me one but .me domains are too expensive for my budget so I didn’t buy that one.

My mom and I had a mild discussion today, as she was asking me to do chores whilst I was working, and I’ve always told her that when I work she doesn’t have to interrupt me, or I’ll end up messing up. She makes a drama when I tell her this, but I’m an adult now, and work has to be respected in every form. Even freelance. But well, it ended up that she was moody because of my sister not at me – but look, I’m the one who gets the shouting XD LOL! it sucks to be the eldest.. – so we made peace a few hours ago *phew* I hate being upset at my mom, and not just because she’s my mom, but also because she’s my friend. Yeah, we often talk between us like friends, not like mom and daughter. Which is very nice ^.- And thanks to sis Jhoice for listening to my rant on YM! You’re so patient, sweetie! Hehe.

So yeah, anyway… I’m just relaxing now, updating my blogs with personal stuff, and enjoying my characters’ blogs ;D Yep! As usual. Hehe. I’m working on some pictures, blogs and fanfic on the couple Jazz Tiger + Nixon, and I hope to get them done by the end of the week. But rule is “no stress!” so I’m going to take my time ^^

Mom gave me ?50 to buy two books I need for work today. They’re two of the “Professional English in Use” books by Cambridge, the Medicine and Marketing ones. I need them for translations and articles, hehe I also borrowed a book about Electronics from my brother, and tomorrow I will start reading it and taking notes, so that I can translate IT articles better from now on.

Wednesday the 8th – I went out to eat a pizza with my best friends of a life: Cristina, Serena and Claudia. We hadn’t spent such a great evening between us in months, as now that we are adults we’re all busy with universities and jobs, so the chances to meet in person are pretty low. But the love and affection is still very strong, and that’s never going to die =) Hehe. So yeah, we ate pizza, chips and tartufo ice-cream, while chit chatting about our current lives, men & love, and studies. It was a happy time, and I hope we’ll get to meet again for a pizza or even just hunging out in a few months. Love you girls!!! x3

Thursday the 9th – Went to the Mass in the afternoon, and I was astonished at seeing how crowded the Church was! o_O Blessed people! It was a wonderful sight for my eyes, because Church used to be a pretty empty place during the week and the Lent time ’till last year. So well, after I took part of the Mass, I went home and immerged myself into work again. Heh ^^ And blogged a bit on my characters’ blogs.

Friday the 10th – My best buddy Cristina and I went to the Celebration of Christ’s Passion at 4PM, and it’s been a deeply moving moment. I was in tears during the celebration. God’s sacrifice for His creatures always touches my heart and I just can’t hold tears back. I just can’t help but feeling a deep and sincere love and tenderness toward this God that loves us so much. I think – and hope – that my faith is maturing just as I mature into a truly adult woman in the years. I feel and understand things more this year than the last one, for sure. I accept sacrifice more than I used to. And I thank God for this

Saturday the 11th – Worked all day and that’s why I’m so exhausted now x_X But at least I’m gonna enjoy 2 days off on Easter and the day after, eheh Just came back home from the Easter Vigil Mass half an hour ago. It was a lovely celebration My buddy Cristina and her boyfriend and parents were there too, and a lot of people I know for years. I sang with the chorus like the old times, and I felt happy like when I was a teen

So, I’m finally at grandma’s house. I came here on the morning of the 14th and I’ll be staying until the 19th in the afternoon. Yay for days off! x3 I’m so finally relaxing here, doing my things in all calm, with no schedules waiting for me to be punctual I’ve resumed exercising too, and I feel a lot better, except for my back, that is taking longer to adjust. Oh well, I only need to be patient I think. I’m praying more since I came here as well; I’ve kind of neglected prayer during work days, but I really felt the need to get in touch with God a lot more I missed Him in my daily routine, and I really need His Presence during this time of Lent, when the “horny one” (you know who) tries to get me away from Him in the worst ways xP Oh no, he won’t win the battle, trust me The Holy Rosary is a great weapon, heh.

Also, I’ve bee watching a lot of DVDs: Star Trek DS9 episodes, Cars (Disney) and Transformers Energon & R.I.D. :3 They’re all so funny! I found out that I’ve fallen in love with light shaded make-up, especially Sheer Cover ? (As Seen on TV), which seems to have become my favourite make-up brand, you know. I like it because it makes skin become so nice and shiny It can be ordered as a whole line too, and it comes in two shades, a powder, sponge, cleanser and moisturizer as a bonus. So nice! x3 I’ve also read some reviews on TVTopTen.com, and the nice thing is that you can really read the essentials of every product in the list :3 They seem to have a lot of famous products, which is interesting, and all of them come with detailed reviews. Good for us!

As for my Characters’ Blogs, they won’t be updated much as well, just when I’m particularly inspired.

Francesca showed me some CDs of the Coldplay band on a shelf at Fnac, and since she let me listen to a couple of songs, I think I’ll start looking around for Coldplay too sometimes XD Oh yeah, friends can really get me into their obsessions sometimes :3 The magic of friendship, heh. ^^ We looked at some books for kids and their beautiful illustrations too, and recipes books.

Since I live outside Rome (nearly 3 hours away T.T), I had to leave at 5PM, so before going we stopped at McDonald and I finally could taste Chips and Chicken McNuggets again :9 Yum! I missed those so much! Francy didn’t get anything, but we’ve been talking about our future jobs and comics too, and we gave each other some advice and suggestions. Then I had to go, and Francy’s mom drove me to the bus stop, telling me to stop at their home for lunch next time so that Francy and I could spend more time together. Awww x3 How sweet!! My friend and her family are so adorable :blush:

Sooo I resumed exercising and aerobics/dancing, and eating healthier of course. And you know what? It’s so much fun! XD Ahah! I’m loving it, maybe because I do feel better, lol.

This Monday was great. My best friend Cristina, her sister Alessia (my childhood friend! ) with her husband, and their parents. It was really a looong time that we didn’t have a dinner together, and it was so lovely! *_* My parents cooked a LOT of food (so much that we’re still eating the left overs, mmh..) and all so yummy, and the nice thing was that Cristina, my sister Barbara and I were all sitting at the same table, a second table just for us So cool! So we had our private chit chats without having the others listen Hihi.

I’ve been to the cinema last weekend, to watch Wall-E :3 The cutest, sweetest robot ever designed for a movie x3 After Johnny 5, eheh! I really enjoyed every second of the movie, especially when Wall-E tried to court Eve (his robotic love ) and didn’t succeed at first. Poor sweetie! xD Well, I’m not gonna tell you how it ended, you gotta watch it for yourself ;3 I can’t wait for the DVD to be released!! No matter how much it costs, I’m gonna get one

So, last Saturday my sister and I finally managed to go to the sea! Not exactly to the beach though, because the weather was windy and cool and she had her montly hassle (and I hate sand too ), but we enjoyed a long walk along the street just above the shore. Then we stopped at a bar because I needed bathroom, and her boyfriend (he drove us there) and I ordered an ice cream too. I got myself a black tartufo and a glass of fresh water. Yummy :9 We stayed until 6PM, then we went for a quick visit to the Anzio port before going back home. Oh yeah! On the car, both on the going and on the return trip, I got so bored that I started revising math on a book I took with me just in case XD LOL!

On Sunday morning, before Church, I had breakfast with Cristina again x3 I love these moments so much! Just like the old times, when we were little I hope we’ll have a wonderful morning like that next week too!

I’m currently spending a nice week at my grandma’s countryside house. Since all the last sad happenings had brought me so down, I really needed some time off town, and I always manage to relax here; plus, I had promised my grandma to spend some time over on the end of August so… here I am ^^

I’m always busy with Transformers RPG on MySpace these days, even though I’d prefer to call it my imaginary life since my real feelings get involved all the time. Transformers are part of my life, that’s it; they’ve been for 14 years and I think they’ll always be. Especially in times of sorrow like these, Transformers are my little inner refuge, where I manage to find some peace and happiness.

Regarding Transformers, or most precisely my Alternative Universe of Robocity World, I finished the Italian-to-English translation of my fanfiction “The Bunny” (Il Coniglietto) and I uploaded it on DeviantART yesterday. Today I will upload it on my Robocity website too

Translating is very hard, but funny at the same time, and I like doing it both for personal pleasure and as a job. My ‘boss’ is currently on holiday though, so I’m waiting for him to be back and give me more translation assignments ^^ I’m trying to study more theory of translation and linguistics these days, and these are the books I’m currently focusing on:

h “Linguistica e Pragmatica del Linguaggio” (C. Bazzanella)

I’ve also been re-watching Star Trek DS9 – Season 1 DVDs and I’m giving some thoughts on reviewing a few episode of interest for you guys ^^ I may come up with a poll next week, so if you like the idea just check back

Least but not last… granny gave me ? 50 as a gift!!! *_* Awesome! And that’s another fifty bucks saved for my trip to Germany *dances around for the joy* XD
