After one-two years, I finally received another hostee application! Please, welcome sweet Roni at

On a more personal note, I have lived the whole day of yesterday in anxiety and concern. My father was hospitalized two days ago because he needed to get his gall bladder removed (he had 3 cm diameter cyst there, which put a gall bladder at risk of rupture) and he underwent surgery this morning. I slept with mom to keep her company last night, and to calm myself down too, because I was panicking. I love my dad to bits, and not just because he’s my dad. He’s my friend too, so it’s a double concern on my behalf. I panicked a few hours ago, when mom wouldn’t phone me yet. I had asked her to call me as soon as dad was out of surgery room, and all that waiting was killing me. I tried to continue my NaNoWriMo writing, but there was no way I would focus on what I was doing. I phoned my boyfriend then, and he called mom for me, because I have no credit left on cellphone. You can imagine what a relief when he reported what mom had told him: dad was alright, and just out of surgery room, sleeping under anesthetics. The operation went smoothly, and his diabetes did not get in the way. Thanks to God! I cried and relieved all of my collected tension. It was a tough moment to live, especially since I was scared about the possible complications given by dad’s diabetes. He’s fine now, and he’s going to be kept under observation for some days, so there’s nothing to fear anymore. ^^

Now, I need to finish a few tasks for my online job, and then write down a 2,000-3,000 words for NaNoWriMo. I hope I can do that. My head still hurts.

P.S. Do you like the *new* Honey-Babe.net? I shaded and improved the header, and added some CSS and graphic treats to the overall layout. It’s much softer now. ^-^
